Muscular System

Untitled 4

The muscular system is a system of tissues (called muscles) throughout the body, which allow you to move. Most of the muscles in the body are under conscious control and are moved by commands sent to the muscles from the brain via the nervous system. However, some muscles (such as the cardiac muscles) are involuntary. The muscles exert force by converting chemical energy into tension and contraction which allow the body to move among many other things.
