Adenosine

Adenosine /​ ​ den′ ​ ​ sin, -sēn/, A compound derived from nucleic acid, composed of adenine and a sugar, d-ribose. Adenosine is the major molecular component of the nucleotides adenosine monophosphate, adenosine diphosphate, and adenosine triphosphate and of the nucleic acids DNA and RNA.
